Pilgrimage to the monasteries Santa Maria del Vilar and Cantauque |

Hello to all of you!
Between 28 April and 1 May 2007, Nepsis España is organising a pilgrimage to two Orthodox monasteries in Southern France, namely Santa Maria del Vilar and Cantauque.
The pilgrimage has the blessing of IPS Iosif (who wishes us "a blessed pilgrimage and a guardian angel"). If you are interested, please let us know. I think the best option would be to arrive at the Carcassonne airport (30 km away from Cantauque). There are cheap flights there to/from London and Brussels (at least). From the airport you will be collected by the participants from Spain (who will travel by car).
The accomodation and the meals will be provided at Cantauque monastery. Everybody is free to contribute towards the costs. We recommend between 10 and 30 euros per person per day.
Cantauque is a small community (6 brothers). We will have the possibility to talk freele to the monks, who will be available for us. The language spoken in the monastery is French, but fr. Samuel is also speaking English and Spanish.
A provisional plan (details to follow in a couple of weeks):- Saturday 28: arrive at Cantauque.
- Sunday: Divine Liturgy in Cantauque. In the afternoon, trip to Carcassonne (medieval city).
- Monday: lectures and discussions. In the afternoon, for those who want, we organise a trip to the mountains (south of Axat).
- Tuesday: leave Cantauque.
Either on Saturday (on the way to Cantauque from Spain) or on Tuesday (on the way to Spain from Cantauque) we will stop for a whole day in Santa Maria del Vilar (Romanian monastery). We are waiting for a confirmaion from fr. Timotei.
